MMN ep:026 MTSS the title says it all.

MMN ep:022 Master of Funny
It’s been a year since we last talked to Joe Avella. If you remember he’s one of the first people we talked to when we kicked off Midwest Media Now! He was making great stuff then but now he’s working on something even bigger, a feature length film. Yeah a feature!
Should I reboot this show?
Yeah I’m thinking about it. I moved back to my hometown of Kansas City. There is a strong commutiy here of filmmakers and “content creators” here. There always was. But the Midwest is always being overlooked. Even with a lot of creative people making big in the world.

Midwest Media Now has one simple mission. To find out what’s going on in the Midwest with content creation.
Along the way we’ll find about the various kinds of artists that are diving into this arena called New Media. How they started, the tricks and tips they might have picked up along the way and how to spread the word about the shows being born right here in the heartland.
We are talking all thing “New Media” really what does that even mean? To us it’s a new way of getting your ideas out there. Whether it’s Blog or your very own TV series we’ll be talking about the whole range of content creation. The hosts of the show also produce their own projects and have found the Internet the ultimate way to release their content. The more you listen the more you will too.
Soon everyone will be going digital and this will enable the smaller, independent producer to find new ways to get their content out there. This show will help with people just getting started and show off the ones that are well on the way.

Sean McMenemy
Creator of Midwest Media Now.
I started this podcast to get to know fellow filmmakers in the Midwest. I’ve made a few short films. But thought it was about time to start showcasing the talent we have right her in the Midwest.
When I started this I lived just outside Chicago. So the amount of content creators was vast but I talked to people from all over.
Now that I’m back in Kansas City. (My Home Town) I thinking of starting the show back up again. It would be perfect for KCUR-FM, maybe even cross over to KCPT!
